PP keeps insisting that he has a security clearance, since he was on Privy Council... in 2015. That level is only valid for 5 years & a background recheck is required if there are changes after it's been obtained, like getting married. He never updated.

PP looks down on all of us as nothing but steps to climb on in order to become the Prime minister. That was absolutely evident from the way he treated the taxpayers during this campaign. He would barely answer any questions from the press. And he will not leave the residence. He has no shame.

Not only did he not engage the press, the Cons running for election didn't engage the press either. In our riding the Conservative candidate did not attend any all candidates meetings, did not respond to any print media, and held no public discourse at all. He was not elected.

The CBC Ottawa afternoon programme ran virtual "town halls" several times during the election.

The conservatives in Ottawa ridings were unable to find a candidate to attend them. All the other parties were represented.

Shame on the Conservatives.

They were following the same playbook as Trump did in the US. They really didn't want to talk to any press either. And it was the same thing here. Everything is exactly the same as Trump. PP was running it mad angry upset all the time just like Trump. He treated media just like Trump treated media.

However unfortunately cons and PP did receive a lot of votes in this election. I am afraid that trend may continue. This is because in Canada we have our own "poor uneducated voters" that can be easily manipulated. PP did the same as Trump and told lies that Canada was falling apart etc. etc.

I don't think that an unelected member of any political party would qualify for a top level security clearance. I could be wrong about that but to get top secret level security he would have to actually win a seat in government, and retain the position of leader of the opposition wouldn't he?

Why would he voluntarily go and get clearance now, have his financial records and family ties looked at when he's already seen that he just has to run out the clock
Now we have to make it mandatory because hes used the loop hole easily the last run to spread speculative lies freely and it worked
