I ended up paying $50 for a spare cylinder and then $80 for someone to replace it for me. Now a cylinder goes into landfill instead of a whole "$160" chair.
I've been feeling capitalism doesn't price stuff right. Hopefully it makes a difference to pretend all my stuff costs 10x more than it does..

If we cared enough about repairability and we knew the future costs, we would pay for it.
