Autistic people are criticised for being “too sensitive”.
But I would never change the part of myself that:
- cares deeply
- has a lot of empathy
- can’t stand injustice
- guides my morals
- is integral to who I am

And there are huge strengths too imo. So many #autistic people are kind, thoughtful & determined to make a difference because we feel and care so much.
Spoken from the 💜 and th mind.
The humans who give me energy are those who seem 2b driven by a force bigger than them.
This is how I have *reconciled* Autism for myself.
Like Nature itself, the forces behind my Autism are not quickly understood. 🌬️
Autism is a good vibe a force for Justice.
Very seriously tho, when folx not like us, underestimate us, do not even give us opportunity to prove them wrong, prematurely concluding, then we've been discriminated against; they've displayed Ableism.
Injustice
He is honest to a fault. Which at times in society can be difficult when talking to jobsworth people who are box ticking. Or when applying for a job.
He also has Tourette’s, & Tourette’s is really not understood. He is learning to not volunteer this info.
It’s his super power.
These bastards should not mistake sensitivity for weakness.
Sensitive people can be tough as well.
In fact, when pushed too far, they can astound.
People: “you CAN lie. a lil white lie isnt bad”
Me: “YES, IT IS”
because why would i want to avoid taking accountability and owning my mistakes? i dont have to lie, i can be truthful and take the consequences because im being true to self
Combine that with Alexithymia , emotions can be challenging to say the least ..
#AutisticHyperEmpathy is a passion of mine as I think more of us experience it than believe ..
