I was underwhelmed by this moral panic given what's happening in the US now (insurrectionists released, in WH; Science & healthcare shut down.)

Then I realised that not everyone has noticed that successful guardrails are at least as big a Holy Grail of genAI as low energy use. #AIColdWar #AIEthics

The #DeepSeek phenomenon is really exposing the intellectual bankruptcy & bullshit of western #AI hype, and also, the hypocrisy of continuous foreign cybersecurity threat warnings – because of course we have a pretty good idea whence the the mysterious attacks on DeepSeek originate.
