my pfp + banner had not-visible to others for like a month when I finally figured out what was wrong. I had appealed the label several times and even reached out to support with no answer whatsoever. Folks on reddit helped me figure it out, but we all need to turn that filter off for it to work.

I genuinely think it's because of banner, it's because they've always been very wary of suggestive pfp & profile banner. I have NSFW stuff turn to show in this account so I can your stuff just fine. However, in my alt acct where I don't have turned on everything in your profile is hidden.

Both? If you get hit by this label you can't see your own pfp/banner if you don't have the filter turned off, but if we can spread the word and have regular users turn it off too then we don't need to worry about it 🙏

I don't see any labels on your account atm so everything seems fine, but it could be a matter of time and changing your banner to something the moderating AI doesn't like to get you labelled and blurred

This doesn't make the label go away (only Bsky Devs/support can do that) but it makes your profile image + banner visible to yourself and others who turned the filter off

It's the instructions in the post. If you have a "sexually suggestive (cartoon)" label put on your account, it makes your pfp and banner blurry to anyone who has the filter turned on

I agree. So far, it can only be done on desktop (or if you open the website on mobile browser I think)
