I've got got the same one and recently sharpened all the knives. It does a great job and won me a ton of brownie points. It does take a long time progressing through the different grits though, especially if you have a ton of knives :|

I don't have one of those, but I do have a leather strop for the final finish, which is ... oddly relaxing.

Stropping is nothing to worry about though. You can't really do much damage with it, and you can do it much more often.
I have way more hesitation when taking an expensive knife and my middling skills to a whetstone, than to a strop.
