I am sure he is a great person & a great coach - I don't want to put him down but if I was an employer, looking at his CV, there would be some serious red flags. How did this guy go from coaching running backs, his whole coaching career,to interim head coach? How did he even get to be passing coach?

Suddenly - there seems to be an awful lot of 'leaked' news about Brown being on other teams' radar as a head coach. 11 months ago he was pretty much a lo-level, unknown running-backs coach (his whole coaching career was with RBs). Somehow he became a passing coach and the rest is history

My worry with Brown is that there is a bounce-back, honeymoon period and he gets the job permanently. And then the Bears end up in a Raiders-Antonio Pierce situation.

From an outsider looking in, from a long way away, over the pond, it looked to me like Warren finally said to Poles 'move over kid, it's time for some adults in the room'. Poles looked like he had had his fingers slapped by the teacher. Was Brown really Poles choice or Warren's 'insurance policy'?
