The indie clubs will never go for it, the already commercialized ones won’t either, and neither will the few who are already moving in that direction.
This is probably the 10-15 clubs who have shown no real interest in investing in that side of things (MIA, CHI, etc.)

Are the MLB clubs sacrificing their ability to develop players for a little quick cash? And will MLS clubs follow suit?
I get it for the PE, a bunch of cost-controlled teams are just sitting there not trying to be commercialized at all. It’s a no-brainer for them.
On the MLS side, teams (hopefully) won’t risk development so DBH can make a buck.
Basically teams that have interest in the marketing, ticket sales, merch, etc. side of things.
