There is a distinct difference between politics in a game vs outside of it. It's not sentient. It doesn't decide where or where it doesn't get sold.

Beyond how the interactivity of the medium informs how a political environment can be changed, politics within video games are solely and heavily shaped by the real world.

Also, that's a bizarre argument? Politics applies to a multitude of non-sentient things.
