so, the fun thing about not having kids, but having friends who have kids is that they will sometimes share pieces of homework with me (and a group chat that contains 2 phd's, and 3 masters-level graduates) today's piece is from a 6th grader's math:

and the finance side of me said: oh, cool, this is a ledger problem, which is great because you can teach children how to balance their accounts for the future!
now, you can write that as
function of x for daily completion is:
f(x)=2x-1
and then you can write for the total completion as
g(x)=x^2
And the coolest part of this is that what you see between f(x) and g(x) is that g(x) is the integral of f(x). We're teaching kids calculus in 6th grade!
