in the past I've described the story to my friends as "Cinderella but way hornier." not sure how much it applies now given that it's evolved WAY beyond that basic premise, but it does feature a magic pair of shoes as a central plot device, so I guess the comparison still works LMAO
btw I call it an "ADULT fantasy/fairy tale" both in reference to the mature, smutty content AND to the fact these characters are all in their early 30s 👀 the whole thing is sort of an extended epilogue to a story that's already happened, with the characters still looking for their happily ever after
