I don’t think we’ve ever had them in the US. I think anyway, I could be wrong

It’s a type of cafe that provides free computers
They’re typically used to play StarCraft or League

It's a 'cafe' with a lot of computers you can rent hourly, wether it'd be for gaming or doing some work

Not really. People go in, they pay an hour or so to use their computer/internet and use it for work or gaming.

A café to use the internet? But I already have a phone, Starbucks, and an overwhelming sense of shame.

They were non-existent where I lived. Hell, my finding out what they even were was GTAIV.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't see one until a few years ago, because we didn't have any where I lived to my knowledge. Going to the library for computers sure, but not a place specifically for computers.

I don't think I've ever heard of or seen an internet cafe in the US, but even I've heard of them.
