I think a lot of early death in American workers can be put down to graveyard shift work, when there are no groceries open to shop for healthy meal options - just vending machine garbage that's overpriced & utterly unfit for human consumption. Vegans should set up graveyard food trucks, draw them in
Grilled tofu & fried zucchini, soy burgers with soy bacon strips on pita, hummus with tomatoes and cucumbers... draw them in with the deep fried stuff and transition them to trying other options.
as a teen i used to work 10 pm to 8 am at a 24/7 store.
the night shifts themselves are easy since not alot of customer and shit going on and you cam focus on the phone. but the customers you do get are unnerving as fuck.
one time a old man tried to show me p*** and get me to give him a blowe

No street lights, letter boxes hidden in hedges, was Hell.

It was awful.
I moved across town, worked a similar store for about two years; got robbed eleven times, and assaulted twice.
Pulling the pin on that place felt like being given a new lease on life.
