It's definitely a different way to shoot. One of those cable release adapters might help. I went back out today to shoot a roll deliberately in bulb mode. Elbows in to steady camera open and close in bulb mode as quickly as I could. Worked ok

Thanks, Maureen. It's weird. You can clearly see the subject, but the blur is more a motion blur rather than out of focus per se.
