When I talk to people about public health most say they want evidence-based information, registered nurses answering questions, and a family doctor so they can be proactive. The UCP is chasing away experts and pushing a tinfoil ideology. It’s dangerous.

They have a job to do. Maybe focus on the basics: sign reasonable collective agreements, hire staff to have safe ratios in hospitals and care centres, and protect academic independence and professionalism among our health professionals.
