I've been very surprised to read that ousting fascism only requires 3.5% of the population to protest.
Wonder if that's true — 'cause there are A LOT more angry Americans than that.
... proportional to the people then living in Boston and the size of the British garrison, still a relatively small number needed for active protest. But we switched in the 20th century to large protests like the March on Washington. Watch "Rustin" on Netflix for inspiration and a primer on protest.
There were more in Berkeley, San Antonio, Boston, Seattle, Portland, AZ and the list goes on. 10K today protesting at tesla showrooms, chargers, and service centers.
Also: Actually gaining independence took another decade, and some very rough slogging, following the Boston Tea Party. I see too much "But it's been a whole six weeks and nothing's changing!"

Hell, 18M **retirees** voted against Trump.
(And plenty who voted *for* him are Reagan Republicans, who must surely be horrified to see that he's Putin's lackey.)
Politicians aren't going to save us.
The courts aren't going to save us.
The police aren't going to save us.
The media aren't going to save us.
If democracy survives in the United States, *we* are going to do it.
Not in '26. W/in the next few wks
