👇 Absolutely spot on. The "will of the people" is not what some gobby muppets say on X (or, for that matter, Bluesky, or Facebook, or LinkedIn, or whatever social network you care to name, owned by whatever interchangeable tech oligarch). It's represented by political parties and institutions.
