For the good of the world, not just America, the forces empowering Trump must be fought. It crushes me to see America lose our place as leader of the free world, but it beats holding our position in service to tyrants. Humanity first, America after. I mean, he spent the entire campaign laying out exactly how he planned to wreck the economy. He is now implementing the plan (and he hasn't even really removed a lot of immigrants, there's a lot more pain coming). So yeah, people who voted for him wanted him to wreck the economy.

It's unfortunate this is happening. It's unfortunate that so many people will have to suffer for enough of these people to realize this isn't ok. The silver lining is that the damage here will get a lot of people to turn against Trump. We need that to avoid worst case scenarios.
