also "Enhancer for Youtube" it gives a bunch of options like being able to change the speed of the video from 0.1x to 8x with audio intact, boost the overall volume, download frames, mess with the color of the video, as well as blocks ads n other stuff. just generally makes youtube better
One that I don't see many people use is NightTab to have cool buttons on default new page on Firefox to get to the most common websites you use, very useful and I like the customization tbh
tampermonkey is a really cool one! lets you install custom scripts that can do all sorts of things on all sorts of different websites. there's a big community for it that's written tons of different things!
Perhaps another -maybe. I'm new to it myself.- useful one, it's called "Hide Google AI overview".
As the title says, allegedly, it hides all the AI generated overviews bs from search results on Google.
Oh nono I mean it in a different way. Back in the day a way to surf the web was with going through affiliates in sites, it was fun!!! But I will try that one!!!!
Ublock Origin: Ad and popup blocker. Not just useful for YouTube ads.
Ad Skipper: A backup YouTube Ad blocker when ublock fails. Just keep in mind it speeds up the ads, it doesn't block them outright like ublock origin. But you won't notice.
I use a "Dark Reader" of sorts to more easily force certain pages into dark mode. Seems to work better even when Firefox's own dark mode settings don't seem to work well in my experiences, and whitelisting sites to be ignored is just a click away.
im kinda late here but theres a cool extension named "touch vpn" wich is an actual cool vpn that doesnt take your money every 5 seconds or aslo one named "sponsor block" wich just skips the sponsors on youtube. have no idea how that works but it does.
there's a few that i definitely make use of to de-clutter as much techbro shit as possible (like scrub trackers or banish ads, etc), but i'll mention 2 big ones:
ublock (VERY important, gets rid of most ads basically)
Enhancer for YouTube (also helps get rid of YT ads and other customization stuff)
I like imagus. Hover over most images on the web and it’ll display the full size version of it (limited to your display of course). Hover over an image, it pops up, and you can use a set keybind to save it. Note: Twitter and Bsky save them as random files but you can just add a .jpg or .png
Search by image AND Image Search Options. One has the usual shit like Google reverse image search/tineye etc and the other has saucenao. I have both because in the past one service didn’t work but the did but others worked and the other didn’t you get it.
aparte del adblock de siempre, uno que recomiendo mucho es Panorama View, para poder dividir bonches de pestañas en secciones que puedes reacomodar y ajustar a tu gusto.
UBlacklist is a good addon, and I use it to block most AI websites from appearing in search results. I'd send the list in this comment, but unfortunately there is a character limit
Indie Wiki Buddy! Basically just gives you better alternatives to Fandom at the top of your search for a ton of wikis. Just a nice way to avoid getting blasted with ads when you want to check something.
Comments
it marks and skips ad segments in videos

Welp, hopefully, those two or three things will be of use to you, then!
Have fun!
Extensions: Ad Skipper, Dark Reader, Ublock Origin
The extensions also apply to mobile Firefox as well. Not all extensions are compatible but these ones are.
Dark reader: adds a customizable filter for sites lacking a dark mode
Ad Skipper: A backup YouTube Ad blocker when ublock fails. Just keep in mind it speeds up the ads, it doesn't block them outright like ublock origin. But you won't notice.

Like people still use that
Chrome boy since 2013
I just thought that gif would make sense
ublock (VERY important, gets rid of most ads basically)
Enhancer for YouTube (also helps get rid of YT ads and other customization stuff)
this specific extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search), there might be others with the same name but they're fake so dont trust them
and just for extra measure, Enhancer for YouTube: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/enhancer-for-youtube/
Así divido mis pestañas normales vs las de la chamba, lmao
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/panorama-view/
Literally downgrades web pages for the sake of the meme.
