I want to share this with my husband badly. He is a vet who voted for tR. He’s not an extremist by any means but he is not well aware of the hurt veterans are experiencing, going to experience. It is extremely sad.

This is off-topic but it reminded me of something I read about loneliness: a lot of people don't feel they have the right to reach out to talk about these things.

If people know someone who may be affected and may be feeling alone in dealing with it all, it might be a good idea to call them.

Sir, as a 21 year veteran myself, I know I'm most likely in the minority, but I'll just say I didn't vote for the man, not once. There are many like us. We saw the inherent danger. So, please, don't use the pronoun "they" or "their" when referring to vets. Just say "a lot of veterans."
