Blue sky is 100% more fun when it comes to sharing art and interacting with moots. But sadly this place is still missing the active fandom communities. If I'm a fan of a series I'm more likely to engage about it on Twitter

For real!! Like I love being here and watch everyone's art, but I still open Twitter to engage with x-men Twitter, something I love so much but I don't really follow a lot of specific people here to see it on my timeline
saaame 😔 there's also still a lot of artists who haven't moved here, or have tried but didn't get the engagement they're used to right away and so gave up... but it's so much nicer here as a general user 😭
Yeah fandom discussions and sharing here can be kinda slow. Not like I necessarily want my feed to be mostly lewd art, but once you filter out all the irrelevant stuff and political posting, it's mostly all that's left.
It's hard to find someone with the same interests. For me it's finding anything anime/manga related muchless specific series. Tumblr is the only space I have for that fandom community experience.
Bluesky has slowly been building up something I've been missing - the crowds of people posting crazy when a thing like a new One Piece or Chainsaw Man chapter drops.
I’m hoping the Feed system gets some improvements and new features. Like you, I think the interaction is great, but not a large sense of community just yet.
