As far as what I'm responsible for, it's a complete character turnaround - top, bottom, front, left, right and 3/4ths. I also had a crude 3D model made. That goes to the manufacturer and from there I assume it's magic.

Because it's going to be a plush, and not a 3D printed thing made of PLA, what considerations do you have to worry about? Is there a specific size of detail you can't include?
Or do they just say "make it huggable" and leave the rest to you?
They basically leave it up to me, and if there are any things that aren't possible to 100% translate from the drawing to the plush the manufacturer adjusts it. I design with the final product in mind, so I make it as close to what I know a plush can feature as possible.
