That’s the thing about AI: it takes things that were already trickling in (there have always been hacks in both art and writing) and turns it into a tidal wave of interchangeable and disposable tat. The SHEIN and Temu of creative arts and with a similar polluting effect.

An issue with that though is that corporations LOVE predictability. They fear trying new things due to the risk of losing even a PENNY of their usual earnings. I honestly unfortunately don’t see AI going away and we’ll have no choice but to go indie to keep REAL creativity going.

and there is a reason we worked so hard on voice, because we understood creative writing to be an expression of our unique person and perspective. we might mimic someone whose voice was pleasing to us, but that was just a jumping off place for developing our own.
