God this is such an embarrassing fucking statement. Imagine in this moment deciding to finally say something publicly politically about your art and it’s just a weak centrist both sides are the same stance.

I genuinely really don't know why these films get so much love and I almost felt crazy for disliking them whenever the discussion would come up. I'm honestly not shocked either, all art is political and the horror genre is built on politics and discussions about the climate of the world.

I don't even consider them good as gorefests like yeah it's fucked up but that's it, it's just fucked up gore for the sake of it. It's not fun and ridiculous like Braindead so I have zero idea why people like the Terrifier movies so much.
