I just saw the surfing trailer for the Lilo and Stitch remake and I didn’t hate it immediately and now I am questioning why.

I heard its basically a shot-by-shot reproduction, so maybe that's why? the OG was so solid

maybe Stitch is just alien (ha!) enough that they avoided the uncanny animal valley??
Anyway, there’s no Pleakley looking fabulous in a dress so what’s the point? 😔
