Interesting that Galaxy did this now instead of waiting to see his performance in the early part of '25. CF Montréal fans are ecstatic with acquiring Neal. I was hoping to see him line up with Garcés in the Galaxy back line.

CF Montréal have acquired defender Jalen Neal from the LA Galaxy in exchange for $650k GAM + int'l roster spot. LAG retains sell-on clause.
Jalen Neal has signed a new contract through 2027 (option for 2028). He will occupy a U-22 initiative slot.
