That's fine, but here's my prediction (or maybe wish): MAGA isn't satisfied talking to itself, else Parler would have been a success. If enough of "us" (left + good faith right) come here, anyone remotely persuadable will migrate here as well, where there's hope for a civil conversation.

I think the idea that we are all in a bubble is exaggerated. I engage with people across the political spectrum on a daily basis, including Trump voters. Sadly, many of them are impervious to other opinions or even facts.

I'm finding that Bluesky is my most diverse environment. Granted, I've blocked MAGA and the hard left, but I don't find them as actually contributing to diverse thought. This has been the best site for perspective, and I think the moderation tools actually allow one to build genuine engagement.
