I think there's merit to the idea that fascism must, inevitably, eat itself and collapse

I don't like the narrative that "fascism always loses". It implies that the natural state of the world is good, and that we do not need to actively work to bring about that good. It gives people an excuse to do nothing because, surely, fascism will lose. but it won't. Not unless we actively fight it

there is a plague, so isolation is smart, but also it's rich people isolating from those most in need, so they're bound to fail and suffer regardless, so maybe the comparable action here is to be a pauper barring the door from the outside
