As for House... I remember the writer saying she was upset about some of the changes made outside of her control. But yeah, do better.

Season 8 as a whole, imo is a downgrade from the show prior to that. It's pretty easy for me to overlook and enjoy the rest, House being rabidly allo is no worse than many other shows, my 2000s weekly show for an ace protagonist is Monk, he's canonically apothisexual alloromantic without the label.

I lament that Law and Order has yet to do an ace story bc I know the influence that show and Olivia Benson have. The entire premise is so close to the point, it’s almost touching. Just nudge from, “It’s okay you didn’t wanna do it with them at that moment,” to “It’s okay you don’t wanna do it ever.”

Legends of Tomorrow is one show that really felt like it did right by their queer characters. I don't know if/who consulted on Spooner, but the scene where she gets the language to describe herself as Ace is fantastic.
