I think Bruno makes the squad for sure, not sure about starting over the likes of Keane, Scholes, Carrick , Giggs etc, but squad for sure.

I don't think Maguire is any better than Johnson, Brown, O'Shea, Evans and i'm not even going to mention the likes of Vidic, Rio etc

He might have done, but i don't think he stands out as being any better than those i mentioned. He certainly wouldn't have been starting, only the bench. So maybe two current players make it. I hope we can add more to the list in the coming years, a few have potential.

From the current squad, he'd be playing Maguire and Yoro at CB. Martinez would be a bit like Heinze, who wants to be a CB, but more likely played at LB. Not sure he'd fancy Dalot at RB. Would be Maz or maybe De Ligt playing there, similar to how Wes Brown played there.

Looking at the O'Shea/Evra pairing, i'd say Dorgu or Dalot as the attacking FB and Mazraoui or Martinez as the defensive FB.

Bruce wasn't quick, Vidic wasn't quick, Johnsen, Berg. But would always play a quick CB next to them. Pallister, Rio, Stam, etc.

He liked to have one aggressive CB, and one "sweeper".

Wouldn't have broken a transfer record for him, but he'd have happily played him.

We can name more but right now, only Bruno stands out. The squad players of Fergie's time like Butt, Park, Brown, Evans, Fletcher would walk into this team no question and i think just shows how bad our recruitment has been recently.
