insta 360 x3, it's great but its sort of overkill just to use as a dashcam

I used to use the Akaso EK7000 Pro w/ image stabilization. It's a lot cheaper and was good enough for most things

The Akaso EK7000 Pro is better actually for license plates, bc it's 4K over 180 degrees whereas the insta x3 is 5K over 360 degrees

I think the newer insta x4 might have higher resolution

these unprotected bike lanes mixed in with car traffic is a nightmare. it seems like car drivers have taken them personally and are responding with less regard for the lives of people riding bicycles. car driver behavior is so much worse than they were a decade ago
