I say that I have used all of these, and the only one that makes me hesitate to embrace as better is the turntable. But i am tone deaf, so I can’t appreciate the difference.
Years ago friend told us her new GPS said there was no IHOP in the area we were staying at. I looked it up in the phone book and the asked the front desk clerk for directions and were having breakfast at IHOP 10 minutes later. Good old folding maps and local phone books made our road trips so easy.
Yes and I also remember my high school economics teacher showing us a newspaper article that the state we lived in had over 100 millionaires. That was a long time ago.
