Kirk didn’t want to loss his job to a younger QB. He played hurt even though he should have sat a few weeks after the Saint game. He subsequently played bad and still lost his job to the young QB.

It’s simple at that.

Him admitting to it is good for the Falcons trading him.

No, but I think it's part of the reason throwing into double coverage was even more of a disaster than it would have been otherwise, and it's weird that Cousins (and maybe the team) pretended he wasn't hurt. It just further shades in a frustrating season

I don't think Morris' seat can get much hotter with the fanbase, but as long as he's not in hot water with Blank, that's something he can shrug off
