It's pretty sad. A person so hollow as to be compelled to claim another's art as their own for some false sense of pride. A cowardly attempt to fill some need.

Unless the original creator’s blessing was given (and if it was why not mention that), I don’t think even doing something “in honor of” is appropriate. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've not seen it, yet, but it doesn't surprise me. Some people just don't respect what artists create.
