Beyond that, men consistently misinterpret a desire for large, strong, fit, or even athletic bodies as a desire for bulging, shredded gym rat bodies. The picture on the left depicts a fit, strong, well-groomed guy and the dudes reacting are calling it a "dad bod".

I think there is a parallel with all the women who get the botox big lips and so forth. I don't know of any guy who finds it attractive. The so-called Mar a Lago face.
