The intake began with slaps. One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, “I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.” . . . The man asked for his mother, then buried his face in his chained hands and cried as he was slapped again.

Shaking again. This time with the confidence that probably only a handful if any of these people are actual gang members or criminals.

I think we must assume they’re all innocent, and the Trump administration is 100% Nazis.

America is a signatory of the 1951 Refugee Convention. Sending asylum seekers *anywhere* without a hearing directly violates international law. Why is nobody talking about this? Where is the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR)? Why does everyone seem happy to let MAGA get away with every fucking thing?
