The WCW cruiserweight division and the NWA-TNA era X division gave huge bright spots to companies because they were something extremely different from the norm.
That style is basically the norm in wrestling now.
I honestly think a chaotically booked trios division could be that modern bright spot.

In this new, dumb "brand is the draw" era, I think you're almost equally likely to grab new folks w wild action as you would with "Hey, is that Edge & Christian?"
There’s a lot of potential for just some fun and weird combinations and a way to build lower card guys and stories through it.
My entire point is to go the opposite direction and make it chaotic with random teams, short reigns, and just have fun with it, let people get over by performing instead of winning, and weave the odd story beat into it. Tons of unexplored ideas to try.
No branding. Just beautiful “World Trios Champions” emblazoned.
Make it an open challenge.
People who aren’t in a storyline could team up and… who knows what creative may come of the pairings. You put people in a room together and magic can happen.
Then, magically, one day around 2019, everyone just magically decided that style was crap.
I have no clue what possibly could have happened.

I want that kind of bizarre stuff
