I finally got a kindle for Christmas. I had refused for the longest time as I just prefer physical books. I read on this last night and it was great. It's way better to read in bed with then a paperback. Not going to stop collecting/reading physical but it's a good alternative. - ThreadSky

Yeah I was surprised how quickly I've taken to it. I read alot faster on it as well I think.

Oh yeah. I think a lot of people presume they're like tablets, but the e-ink is soooooo much easier on the eyes than a tablet screen, and the size and feel are really perfect for mimicking a paperback. I truly love mine.

Oh yeah, I collect vintage paperbacks, but my eyesight just isn't up to reading most of them for long stretches of time. The Kindle is much easier on my poor eyes.

I got my father one in October of last year. By January, he had wracked up 115 books finished. 🤯

I'm a sucker for digital reading (on my phone, believe it or not) and I attribute ebooks to getting me back into reading in general.

And they aren't bad for finding affordable ebooks of pulp titles. 👀

He's a fricking monster. Doubly so when you consider all of his reading are giant fantasy novels. It scares me.

If you ever want recs on men's adventure or adult western ebooks that are harder to find in print, I, uh, may have a few. 😅
