I feel like Garrett Hardin’s “Lifeboat Ethics” essay would be an easy if unpleasant read. Madison Grant is very readable but even farther beyond the pale. I haven’t read it all yet but The Rise of Ecofascism might be your best bet for secondary sources.

I do an in-class close "hate-reading" of a section of Hardin's Tragedy--because he's so slippery, I got tired of students coming to class on board with his ideas, ugh!
