@ksciencearts.bsky.social @pathdancer.bsky.social I paint on ACM or birch wood panels that are primed with an oil ground. Acrylic gesso is more absorbent and tends to hold more texture, whereas an oil ground is less absorbent and it settles prior to drying which creates a smoother surfaces.
