If he runs his businesses like it seems, they probably all run on a web of debt collateral where each is leveraged against the other. Tesla is likely the lynchpin because it's revenue streams are far more consistent + less risky biz than SpaceX/ the others.

I bet a Tesla sales crash would hurt. 1/2

Tesla dump will also hurt because Elon won't listen to anyone for as long as his shareholders think his crazy behaviour and political proximity to Trump guarantees money.

People should be thinking very hard about buying Tesla cars. Anything that enables Musk to continue his far right crusade across planet earth should be viewed with extreme caution. This guy is clearly very dangerous to us all.
