Why are you on social media, and Bluesky, specifically?
What do you need in order to feel comfortable/satisfied here?
In addition to access to experts for information, for me, a sense if community is most important.
If that's true for you, too, do you feel that?
If not, what would help?

Left Twitter/X Unfortunately, even though most of the people I followed there are here as well, it seems a lot of people are primarily there and doing very little here. So I don't see or hear much from that community here the way I did over there. So I just don't get on here much.
I think many feel as you do so they keep posting there
i just added you to a Starter Pack

It's hard for one person to move to a new location.
We've been trying to mive a huge community & all of its parts (Medsky/Medtwitter & Cansky/Cancer Twitter).
It's not an easy task
What would make it better?
One was is by adding/liking/pinning Feeds of the topics you like. Then when you want to see those posts, you just click on it.
Another is by creating (it easy) your own Lists. You click & see posts from those people, only
I created lots
It would help if you & others can give me some topics that would be well received.
You’ve been so helpful!
Are you finding it & if not, or not enough, what would it take?
Then the past several months, I'd check in but not really post much.
2 - interesting analysis from reasonable people
3 - a little fun, R&R, cute/lovely pics
4 - healthy discussion in communities of interest, cansky & BC
5 - mutual respect
Do you feel that you're receiving support from the Bsky cancer community?
Btw, i just added you to the StarterPack. You can find it in my pinned post
I've had wonderful people respond to a question I posted for a friend who doesn't have an account here or on Twitter.
Thanks. I'd also like to give support whenever I can.
You can add it here

Are you finding people that you connect with here & are people responsive?
Congratulations on 10 years!
Also, I am not really used to using social media either so it’s a learning curve… I am getting there though.
I am finding people here on Bluesky especially receptive
And thank you 🙏

I just added you to this Starter Pack (though your name isn't showing up for me, despite it showing you were added). Let me know if you see your name

I am a quick learner, I have dabbled with social media but never been both feet in.
Started learning & making some videos last month… so far so good 😊
Thanks for being so kind!
2 two hours ago i got blocked for calling out someone for being really insulting to someone else who was an ass bec it's hypocritical! 😂
Funny enough, neither of them found me to be kind!
If you only want to see post by people who bowl, you can!
To feel comfortable/safe it is critical to protect users against abusers, something that has been lacking on X for a while. It is no longer safe for scientists to post on X.
Also the hatred of minorities is beyond any ability to tolerate it.
