I think it's much worse. It's not "instances of misguided applications of laws" that he rejects, he is criticizing Europeans for resisting Russian election interference AND he is explicitly pushing for cooperation with the extreme right. Unheard of. A US official arguing for the Nazis. In Munich.

It’s the growing pains of realignment for that cohort. Putin runs a zero tolerance Christian nation. He’s the model, not the threat and they want America to be a kinder, gentler Russia. I feel sorry for JD. He’s a gifted, thoughtful person who’s become an avatar of anger and ego.

Based on this report, can we logically conclude that Russia is behind the current active coup? I think we have bigger issues at hand if this is true, and would explain their urgency of dismantling the Federal Government.
