I hate the Wuk Lamat discourse so much, because as someone that has problems with the character, I hate how loudly people hate her for the stupidest reasons possible. Like that the WoL isn't the central focus of the story, or that they "babysit". That isn't the problem!! - ThreadSky

The problem is that the story around her character is poorly written. In Heritage Found most of the decisions are made by Wuk Lamat based on "trust me bro I know what Zoraal Ja is thinking", when no I don't think you would, it sounds like you barely had a single conversation with him in your life

She becomes this leader character in a way that doesn't feel earned, because we saw her journey, and her emotional conflicts amounted to her having a breakdown, someone telling her not to be hard on herself and her going "Okay I love you guys"

I'm totally down for her character being the lead, and for her being this rookie fighter that has passion and not much else at first. That's good! But the story is badly written in a way where she takes the blame for weird decisions that happen in it. Her development was all wrong imho.

I for one like being a sort of "mentor" to Lamatye, it's cool, our character is basically in the post game, everyone knows we're this hero that's been to half the world, and we would have good advice to give to her, being as worldly as our character is.
