I really think the law firms and universities that already bowed to the pressure should reverse course. There is clearly a wave of resistance going on. It shouldn't be too late to join. The consequences for reversal can't be any worse than saying NO in the first place.
Trump requires complete loyalty, but can universities, or any institution of higher learning, give him that and still maintain some measure of independence? It seems unlikely.
