Circe you are my FAVORITE artist for a good reason. Seriously you've given me so much investment in strange, quirky kinks - and helped me understand WHY people like some other kinks. Keep being you, forever 💜
I have one such "obscure kink": stories about cozy sapphic fat admiration. just fat girls who warmly love each other, where a major avenue of expression is squishing fat. I like the more indulgent stuff too, but I seem to be the *only* writer with any real focus on this, it's bafflingly uncommon
I dunno, it doesn't feel like it's some mega niche thing to me. There are plenty of fats stories without sex, yet somehow vanishingly few of those are about the mundane joys of being fat and having a sapphic (not necessarily romantic, even!) relationship where that's expressed and loved. Rough >w>
Few things missing: "Kink should be extremely, extremely common but it's somehow not" and/or "people who seem to be into far worse things managed to bully the artist off the platform."
1. draw kink once
2. get immediately flooded by people into it
3. weirdos start leaving comments about that kink on your sfw art
4. never draw that kink again
I really really want to learn how to draw specifically to join this cycle
It’s a shame there aren’t more comics (that I am aware of at least) about slowly transforming into a monster and shedding the old you in favor of the hot and sexy new you, for example
Technically speaking, there is a certain small niche that not many people know about. There's art on the topic but the majority just doesn't have the vibe I'm looking for, y'know.
The one time I got a commission from an artist, he didn't send a WIP so the facial expression ruins it for me. >_<;
Either that or be like me where you can't really skilled enough to portray your weird niche kink and have trouble getting over the feeling that someone else more skilled is going to start making it any day now lmao 😭
As a preface, getting "the vibe" is something you manage for us so easily. Your dialogue hits our sweet spot. For example, "Besties" nails it. So, so good.
I know it's a shoddy way to categorize it, but there's so few depictions of vore/merging that works for us anymore. 1/2
There's a branch that grows off that cycle that goes something like:
"Art gets uploaded to Rule 34" -> "Someone makes a comment that would be illegal to say in real life"
STORY OF MY LIFE. It feels like no matter what I try - be it games, writing, animating - I always slot into some super specific niche with like, 4 other people that get the idea qwq

It's nothing shameful or illegal, nothing like that. Wouldn't mind exploring it more but it also feels a little... vulnerable ^-^;
I wanted to delete the commission but it's 95% perfect, just that >_<
And maybe one or two we have as a result of seeing it. ^^;
