The fact that there are kids in high school older than the ACA and yet people STILL don't know what the fuck it is is infuriating.

They actually had lifetime benefits. If you had a premature baby and care cost more than a million, you were on the hook for that overage.

I can’t imagine living with health insurance the way it was. The fact that such a better alternative inspired such hatred in people continues to baffle me.

I know. It used to be your kids got kicked off your policy when they graduated HS or turned 18. Some let you cover your kids if they were FT college students with at least a C average. If not - they got booted. I guess some people now don’t want young adults on their parents’ policies. 🤦🏼‍♀️
