I keep going to the folder where I’ve stashed mine and then have to remind myself that I’m not touching them this week lol. But so far I haven’t tried to override the restrictions!

I deleted all FB and Instagram from my hime screen and unistalled Threads. Ppsted a message on fb saying I'd be gone for a couple weeks so that the few people I do still interact with there aren't surprised I'm not responding.
Without it on my homescreen I'm less likely to use them

I have extended family that still uses fb/insta. And I have a few friends that I don't see anymore who exclusively use fb/insta. I'm rarely on there. This break is more to do with mindless doomscrolling on there vs protest.
I'm sorry I can't ask my elderly grandparents to learn a whole new app.

I deleted the app from my phone. I’ve already had the temptation to log in, but I have to add a page to my 300 already up pages, then log in, and it’s not worth it.

I logged out of all the Meta platforms. That alone should be reminder enough for me when I try to check them. I look forward to seeing how much writing I can try to get done this week.

This is the move. Momentarily not using Meta does absolutely nothing. All it does is tell Meta you're not serious.
