Actuality: I fucking hate it when I'm right. I spend most of my time praying I'm completely, 100% wrong. That it doesn't unfold that way at all. Knowing things in advance is a curse.

Someone tried invoking your law w/r/t current events the other day and I could only conclude they've been living on a remote commune with no internet access for several years
Many years ago arguing about climate change with my dad I said to him "there won't be any celebration when our side of this argument is proven to have been correct, because we'll be too busy dealing with the consequences of having been correct."
