In my first full linework, I set the opacity to about 30% Then I draw over the lines again in select areas with opacity somewhere around 50% Lastly I draw in coners 90% - ThreadSky

For coloring, I use a tool in Sai called the 'Marker'. This automatically gives me a gradient, as I use the tool over time. I color on a layer over top of the linework. This is because the Marker is already set to opacity naturally. So it tints my lines the color of the body. I blur what looks harsh

As a final touch; I will 'blush', highlight, & shadow with different colors on the color wheel. (Usually using yellow and cyan). I still continue to use the marker (or the airbrush for more solid colors) & blend with blur.

Yes, that's right, I use Sai during the whole process for my new style.

The only thing I wish Sai had... Is more weighted line visibility. I've played with settings, but I can't for the life of me get line weight to show through.

Line weight? I may actually know a way you can do that?? If I am understanding well. It is hard to describe but I use SAI 100% for my drawings and I can control the thickness well

Nice. I love your works, I was just going through some of your stuff, & I can see your line thickness (or line weight) varied nicely

Is it anything to do with the density feature, I wonder? I tried playing with that and saw some improvement (I turned it up)
